Growth Partners Co., Ltd. (“Growth Partners”) hereby announces that GP Public Equity Investment Limited Partnership, which is operated and managed by Growth Partners, has agreed to subscribe for bonds with share acquisition rights to be issued by Nichiryoku Co., Ltd. (“Nichiryoku”) through a third-party allotment. Growth Partners has also entered into a business alliance agreement with Nichiryoku to provide support for the planning and execution of various initiatives aimed at further growth.
Nichiryoku is a comprehensive senior life support company whose main businesses include cemetery services (outdoor cemeteries and columbaria) and funeral services for individual customers. The company aims to evolve beyond simply providing funeral and cemetery-related services, and to become a company that supports seniors and their families by addressing and resolving the concerns and challenges they face in later life.
In its medium-term management plan announced on November 14, 2025, Nichiryoku identified “cost reduction,” “strengthening sales capabilities,” and “enhancing external partnerships” as its three key initiatives, with the aim of transforming itself into a high-growth, highly profitable company through higher value-added services and greater efficiency. Against this backdrop, Nichiryoku determined that it would be necessary to collaborate with a partner capable of supporting the enhancement of corporate value from the perspectives of capital, expertise, and networks, and decided to enter into a business alliance with Growth Partners.
Nichiryoku and Growth Partners will work together to accelerate business expansion through support for growth strategy development, cost reduction, operational improvement, M&A, IR, and other initiatives.
