Growth Partners Co., Ltd. (“Growth Partners” or “we”) announces that GP Listed Company Investment D Limited Partnership, a fund managed by Growth Partners, has agreed to acquire common shares of Def consulting, inc. (“Def consulting”) from The capital Co., Ltd., and to become a major shareholder (the largest shareholder) of Def consulting.
Def consulting provides multi-faceted support centered on three domains: strategy consulting for management and business strategy formulation; operations consulting to execute and implement strategies; and technology consulting leveraging IT and digital technologies. The company has achieved steady growth by actively hiring talent while maintaining a high consultant utilization rate. In addition, Def consulting has pioneered a digital asset treasury strategy among domestically listed companies, building a hybrid business model aimed at enhancing corporate value through the holding and management of Ethereum (ETH).
Def consulting has now entered a phase focused on accelerating its digital asset treasury strategy and strengthening its core businesses through M&A. In this non-linear growth stage, the company determined it was essential to partner with an organization capable of accelerating corporate value enhancement through management know-how and business networks, and accordingly decided to collaborate with Growth Partners.
