Growth Partners Co., Ltd. (“Growth Partners” or “we”) announces that GP Listed Company Investment Limited Partnership, a fund managed by Growth Partners, has transferred its shares in TORICO Co., Ltd. (“TORICO”) to Shooting Star No. 1 Investment Limited Partnership, a fund managed and operated by Mint Town Inc. (“Mint Town”).
Founded in July 2005 with the vision of “captivating the world” and the mission of “bringing more fun to the world,” TORICO operates two core businesses: (1) e-commerce services—including the online bookstore specialized in complete manga sets MangaZenkan.com and the digital comics distribution service Sukima—and (2) event services, such as Mangaten exhibitions held both in physical venues and online. During our investment period, we provided consulting support to improve operations and performance, including logistics optimization, event profitability enhancement, and HR/organization initiatives.
We believe this transaction will enable TORICO to achieve further growth with the support of Mint Town.
