Growth Partners Co., Ltd. (“Growth Partners” or “we”) announces that GP Listed Company Investment Limited Partnership, a fund managed by Growth Partners, has agreed to subscribe for preferred shares and warrants to be issued by VIA HOLDINGS INC. (“VIA Holdings”) through a third-party allotment. We also entered into a business alliance agreement under which we will support VIA Holdings in planning and executing various initiatives to drive further growth.
VIA Holdings, whose corporate philosophy is “creating value that resonates with the heart,” operates a diversified foodservice portfolio—including brands such as “Yakitori no Ogiya,” “Nihonbashi Beniton,” “Sakana-ya Icchō,” and “Pastel”—and aims to enrich customers’ daily lives by delivering safe, high-quality cuisine and service aligned with evolving needs.
Looking ahead, VIA Holdings has identified three strategic pillars—“redesigning the profit model,” “redefining the format model,” and “advancing a people-centric performance model.” While strengthening its profit foundation and pursuing growth in tandem, the company will accelerate bold shifts and investments toward a new business model. Anticipating structural changes in Japan’s domestic market, increasingly diverse consumer needs, overseas expansion, and new business development, the company also prioritizes proactive M&A and the build-out of overseas development capabilities. In this context, VIA Holdings determined it was essential to partner with a player capable of contributing capital, know-how, and network to enhance corporate value, and accordingly chose to form a business alliance with us.
